A juried exhibition for artists who express emotions or views relating to water— it’s value, beauty, use, abuse, etc. Fall in love with water again and find the reasons we need it to exist. It's not only a life source- it's art!

Why celebrate water?

"Here is a land where life is written in water." So says the poem that graces the rotunda of the Colorado state capitol. Colorado's heritage and future are dependent on our water resources which are vital to our communities, ecosystems, health & well-being, and our economy.

2012 is a milestone for Colorado's water. It's an epic anniversary for the legislation and organizations that built the foundation for today's water management across the state. In 2012, The Colorado Water Conservation Board, the Norther Colorado Water Conservancy District and the Colorado River Water Conservation District celebrate their 75th anniversaries. The Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District celebrates ts 50th and the Colorado Foundation for Water Education turns 10. These anniversaries are an opportunity to celebrate the value and uses of Colorado's limited water resources. The Colorado Foundation for Water Education (CFWE) is spearheading this exciting initiative in collaboration with hundreds of diverse partners across the state.

Will you join the celebration?
